Thank You to Our Hanukkah Helpers

“At this time of year, when the sun is most hidden, the holiday of Hanukkah celebrates the rays of hope and light.” -Rafael Goldstein

For many years, with the generous help of the Women of Temple Shalom, Keneseth Israel and other community donors, JFCS has provided children in our community gifts for Hanukkah through the Hanukkah Helpers program.

This year, 27 children will have a Hanukkah filled with hope and light, thanks to the kindness and generosity of our community.

The Jewish value of Kahilah fosters connections that strengthen individuals and build community. The Hanukkah Helpers program illustrates that even in dark times, a little light can make all the difference.

JFCS wishes all who celebrate a bright and meaningful Hanukkah.
