Parenting Through the Pandemic

Adjusting to new routines isn’t easy. Let us help.

The disruption to our daily routines has challenged parents in many ways. How can you work effectively from home while ensuring that your children continue to thrive? What’s the best way to address your child’s fears, even as you try to plan for an uncertain future? When can you integrate self-care into your new routine? How can you make the best of this time together?

Join JFCS for a weekly discussion voicing the challenges parents of young children experience and presenting strategies to address them. We will provide tools to ease the burden on today’s parents, from conversation techniques to practical activities and ideas.

This is a space for parents to remind each other that by taking care of themselves, they will strengthen their families and meet the challenge of our lifetime with grace and confidence.

Facilitated by Naomi Carrico, CSW, JFCS therapist and the mother of a young child.

Virtual meetings will be held the 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 8:00 PM.

(June 2nd, June 16th and June 30th)
