JFCS is proud to launch the JFCS Community Chats! These quarterly events bring together a panel of experts and activists who discuss pressing needs and topics affecting the Greater Louisville Community. It’s a great way to learn about crucial topics facing Louisvillians and find out how to utilize resources available and become advocates for equality! Community Chats are free but we request that you RSVP for each event for planning purposes.

If you have a suggestion or a topic you would like to see covered by a JFCS Community Chat, please email Courtney Evans at cevans@jfcslouisville.org.

Join us for our next Community Chat: Preventing Fraud for Older Adults

March 25, 2026 at 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM in-person at JFCS!

This month’s topic will focus on our crime victim specialization program we have through the Victim of Crimes Act support throughout the state. We will have Republic Bank’s Fraud Disputes Manager sitting on the panel bringing the financial fraud perspective, AARP’s Fraud Prevention Specialist, and Paul Troy will be JFCS’ representation and is a local expert on fraud prevention for older adults.

Lunch will be provided for all attendees as well as resources from each of the panelist’s agencies. If you’re interested, please complete this form so that we capture dietary restrictions!

THANK YOU LOUISVILLE

Our 2025 JFCS Community Chat Series was a rousing success thanks, in large part, to YOU – the Community! We want to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season and please check back here in January as we announce the 2026 JFCS Community Chat line-up.
