Jewish Family & Career Services is one of seven nonprofit agencies that have been chosen for the 2012 Yum! Ignites Louisville Challenge. Â JFCS will be paired with a team of young professionals in the service learning component of the Leadership Louisville Centerâ€™s Ignite Louisville program. Â Together, the agency and the Ignite Louisville team will work to plan, execute and sustain new strategies for success. Â Ignite Louisville is presented by Norton Healthcare.The team assigned to work with JFCS includes Michael Bush, Northwestern Mutual; Travis Frick, Dean Dorton Allen Ford, PLLC; Chris Garrett, LG&E & KU Energy, Jenny Heitkemper, Yum! Brands; Elizabeth Monohan, Humana Inc.; Joshua Oâ€™Bryan, Frost Brown Todd LLC, and Valerie Sickles, Main Line Broadcasting. The JFCS Ignite team will work with Center for Enterprise Development staff to build a team of volunteers to assist and coach microentrepreneurs in its program, to start a revolving loan pool, and to help microentrepreneurs build a customer base and generate sales.
