SOLUTIONS TO SENIOR HUNGER | FREE WORKSHOP
For Adults 50 and Older
provided by JFCS Klein Older Adult Services
Are you 50 or older and struggling with food insecurity or questioning whether you’d qualify for food stamps?
Jewish Family and Career services will be holding a FREE work shop on Wednesday, May 11th from 1:00-3:00 at 2821 Klempner Way 40205, to help determine eligibility, assist in filling out applications and also act as a liaison throughout the process to help make it as easy as possible. All those in attendance will be entered in a drawing for Kroger gift cards. You are not alone, let JFCS help connect you with food stamps, it will be a SNAP! For more information please contact Naomi Malka at 452-6341 ext. 249
JFCS receives support for this program from MAZON: Solutions to Senior Hunger Initiative, in partnership with the Association of Jewish Families & Children and supported by the generous funding from the Walmart Foundation, is a national initiative designed to alleviate food insecurity and improve nutrition among low-income seniors.
