During the 2016 MOSAIC Awards, JFCS recognized five individuals who help to make Louisville, KY a vibrant city. Dr. Emma Birks, Dr. Manuel Grimaldi, Oksana Masters, Dr. Thangam “Sam” Rangaswamy and Dr. Riaan van Zyl were honored for their many professional accomplishments, as well as what they do to make our community a better place.
Since 1908, JFCS has welcomed new Americans to our community, giving people the skills and tools to manage tough transitions and meet life’s challenges, but we don’t work alone. The success of the MOSAIC Awards would not have been possible without the support of our honorary chairs, Viki and Paul Diaz, our event committee and chair Barbara Sexton Smith and all of our sponsors, many of whom have been partners with us since the beginning. Louisville is a richer and more interesting community because of the contributions of our honorees.
