Continuing a Tradition of Service

You are invited to attend our Annual Meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27. JFCS leadership will recognize volunteers, give awards and announce the election of new board members. Dessert and coffee will be served. There is no charge to attend, but we do ask that you call ahead to ensure that we have enough seating for everyone. RSVP to 452-6341.

Grandparents Raising Grandchildren

Enrichment Series

May 29 and June 12, 2014

This two-part seminar is for grandparents or other adults raising young family members. Sessions focus on increasing cooperation and respect with young children, preteens and teens. Pizza will be served, and childcare will be provided for ages 4 and up.

Boost your prospects after college

This free five-week seminar is for recent college graduates or college juniors and seniors who are looking toward the future. Topics include planning your future, developing a job search toolkit, how to interview effectively, and more. ACT Preparation Workshop

Eliminate anxiety and ace the test

Begins July 7, 2014

High school juniors and seniors preparing for the ACT can benefit from our ACT Preparation Workshop. This eight-part course provides strategies to improve scores, reduces test anxiety and familiarizes students with testing conditions.
