Don Pitts is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He received his graduate education at Texas Tech University and The University of Louisville. Don is a Clinical Fellow and Approved Supervisor for The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. In addition to his work at JFCS he is an adjunct faculty member for the Marriage and Family Therapy Program in the Kent School of Social Work at U of L.
Don loves working with individuals and families at all stages of development. He enjoys the variety and challenge of providing therapy to families with children and teens, to couples experiencing relational difficulties and to adults of any age facing challenges at work or at home. He has extensive experience in assisting children and adults affected by trauma, assisting families with children and teens having emotional and behavioral problems, grief issues and men’s issues.
