Meet the MOSAIC Honorees: Riffat Hassan

As a Thursday mini-series, the JFCS blog is introducing you to the five 2013 MOSAIC honorees. Today, meet Riffat Hassan, Ph.D, from Pakistan. She’s currently a professor Emerita at U of L, and a prolific author! In addition, she’s considered one of the pioneers in inter-religious dialogue and feminist theology, as well as a founder of the International Network for the Right of Female Victims of Violence in Pakistan.

Honors include induction in the U of L College of Arts & Sciences Hall of Honor, as well as receiving the Kennedy Center/Sondheim Inspirational Teacher Award.
