It’s March Madness again and with that typically comes discussion about office pools’ impact on the workplace. Are they a morale booster or a productivity bust?

It’s hard to substantiate, but a recent study by a national consulting firm suggests that there may be as much as a $134M loss in wages and productivity across the country due to office pools.
