In Recognition that May is Older Americans Month

You gotta go where you want to go….do what you want to do…

For many of us, driving means freedom and independence. For those who cannot drive or can no longer drive, you have to rely on friends and family. Transportation can be a burden that leads to anxiety and isolation.

PALs (Passport Around Louisville) is a service through JFCS that provides the older adult community with the freedom and access to transportation without having to use complicated apps or websites that would otherwise deter them from seeking service. Just a phone call to our transportation coordinator will help you book appointments to doctor visits, shopping trips, social outings and more.

If you have any questions about qualifications for the program or to become a member, contact Aaron Guffey at 452-6341, ext. 301. Put the freedom of transportation back in your hands.
