How Much Does Happiness Cost?

Does money buy happiness?  A recent study suggests not. However, the study does suggest that earning $50,000 per year is an important threshold for gaining a reasonable sense of psychological well-being and security.

Another recent Department of Labor survey identified several occupations in the Louisville labor market that reliably generate annual earning power of $50,000 or more. Quick examples include engineers, educational administrators, and compliance officers.
