Food Pantry Peanut Butter Drive Succeeding!

Today’s blog written by Kim Toebbe, Volunteer Coordinator

The Peanut Butter Drive is going splendidly! Louisville is such a generous community, especially Jewish residents who know and practice tzedaka and mitzvah from the time they are young.  The JFCS Food Pantry was low on peanut butter, but once we put out the word, we received many donations of peanut butter and more! Special thanks to Madeline Abramson, Tami Penner, Tamar Schwartz, and the organization of which Tamar is a part, “Dining For Women” for large donations of peanut butter.

Food Pantry Needs for the Month of May (a little early!):
Crackers • Non-perishable, individually packaged fruit, jello, nuts, and other non-sugary snacks. • Peanut Butter • Canned chicken • Canned chunky soups • Canned fruit • Applesauce • Volunteers willing to pick up food from Dare to Care on designated days at designated times.
