Foggy Friday Roundup

It’s been a grey gloomy rainy week here in Louisville, and the first of December. It wasn’t all dreary, though – here’s what we’ve been up to:

-Our Family Mitzvah Chanukah Helpers had a great event this last Sunday. Over 60 volunteers came to the event, making it possibly the biggest Family Mitzvah ever! Children and their parents created lots of crafts and cards (see above), and all were entertained by the live music of the Chanukah Troupers.

-It was announced that next week, Gil Roberts will join JFCS’s Navigate Enterprise Center as our new Business Development Specialist. The agency also welcomes Belinda Saunders, a recent graduate of our HOP program, to the older adult staff as a home care aide.

-The Agency will be closed next week, December 11, from noon-4PM for a staff retreat. Please plan accordingly!

Stay dry, and have a great weekend! We’ll see you next week 🙂
