-Last call for theÂ Family Mitzvah Passover event! That’s thisÂ Sunday, March 17, 1:30 â€“ 3 PM (Which is also St. Patrick’s Day! Wear green just in case…). Bring the family and enjoy an afternoon of Passover arts and crafts! Our Mitzvah project is to help organize Passover food baskets to be distributed to those in need. Please bring food donations for the JFCS food pantry.
-Unfortunately, our final Grandparents Raising Grandchildrenâ€™s How to Compute: Understanding Your Grandkidsâ€™ Technology session has been cancelled. Apologies for any inconvenience! As always, our regular Grandparents/Relatives Raising Grandkids (adults only sessions) meets at JFCS on the third Monday of each month at 2 PM.
-Our Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group will be changing. As of May, this group will meet on the second Friday of each month. Please plan accordingly.
–HelpÂ JFCS meet the Feinstein Challenge! The FeinsteinÂ Foundation will divide $1 million among hunger-fighting agencies nationwide to help raise funds duringÂ March and April 2013; all donations during this period to the JFCS Food Pantry of food, canned goods and grocery gift cards, as well as monetary donations to the Sonny & Janet Meyer Family Food Pantry Fund, will be matched as part of the Feinstein Challenge to Fight Hunger. Take part and help make a difference in your community with this great program!
