Faintly Floral Friday Updates

Flowers are blooming, the sun is shining, and Passover is in full effect; that’s where you find us this week, here at JFCS.

-Take note, the agency is closed next week, April 1& 2 (Monday & Tuesday) in observance of Passover, so please plan accordingly.

Invitations for MOSAIC are running through the printer now, but you don’t have to wait to get yours. Call Beverly Bromley at (502) 452-6341 ext. 223 to purchase tickets today. Meet this year’s honorees and find out more about the event on the JFCS website (online ticket purchasing coming soon!)

Anxiety Management Classes are on the horizon, with just a week left to register! Learn new ways to manage your anxiety, beginning on April 8 for five sessions. To register, contact Lauren Kehr, LCSW at (502)452-6341 ext. 227.

-The Caregiver Survival Workshop is also coming up fast, and it’s going to be BIG. If you look after an aging loved one, don’t miss this FREE event (breakfast and lunch provided – how can you beat that?). Meet us over in the U of L Shelby Campus Founders Ballroom on April 11 from 8 AM—3:30 PM. Featured speaker is nationally known Elaine Sanchez, a healthcare speaker and author. There’s just a little over a week to pre-register – contact Mauri Malka, Director of JFCS Klein Older Adult Services at (502) 452-6341.

-Last but not least, the Feinstein Challenge still has a month to go! All donations during March and April 2013 to the JFCS Food Pantry, as well as monetary donations to the Sonny & Janet Meyer Family Food Pantry Fund, will be matched by the Feinstein Foundation. Basically, if you donate this month, it’s TURBO-CHARGED!

Okay get out there and have a great weekend! Don’t forget to drop a comment on our Facebook 🙂
