Pre-Passover Family Mitzvah – Virtual Edition
April 6, 2020 @ 2:30 pm - 3:00 pm
Join JFCS in Our Carole & Larry Goldberg Family Mitzvah Program
When the Jewish people left Egypt, they didn’t have enough time for their bread to rise, so they made matzo. To this day, Jews across the world eat matzo during Passover to connect with the experience of rushing out of Egypt into freedom.
During this special edition of Family Mitzvah, we’ll each bake matzo in our own homes, and talk about what we do when there are urgent needs around us.
Things you’ll need:
Adult supervision
An oven pre-heated to 475-500 degrees
1 cup flour
1/3 cup water
rolling pin
baking pan
