Creating a Telephone Reassurance Program

April 8 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Presented in Partnership with CNPE

This opportunity is recommended for nonprofit professionals.

During this time of social distancing, isolation is a dilemma that can negatively impact anyone who is living alone, lacking strong social networks, or combating the immediate, unprecedented effects of becoming home bound. Jewish Family & Career Services has long used telephone reassurance as one part of holistic service for older adults. In this training, you will learn the basics needed to start a telephone reassurance program, including guidelines for training, assessment, measurement and confidentiality.

Facilitated by Mauri Malka (MSSW, LCSW), Senior Director of Programs at Jewish Family & Career Services.
