The Pledge 13 program specifically offers these students opportunities to live their Jewish values through mitzvah opportunities with JFCS and elsewhere. Through the program\, student participants commit to a minimum of thirteen hours of community service. Upon completion\, JFCS provides a certificate of completion and small gift in honor of their achievement to be presented at their bar/bat mitzvah ceremony.

At the conclusion of the course\, participants will be certified a Mental Health First Aider. Registration is limited to 20 people. Deadline to register is April 15.
