Jewish Family & Career Services of Louisville has achieved Hague Accreditation through 3/15/2016 for services for incoming cases pursuant to the Intercountry Adoption Act of 2000.


As a Hague Accredited Agency, we comply with the Intercountry Adoption Act and Hague Regulations and provide specific disclosures to clients upon initial contact. JFCS has information on our procedures and policies related to adoption, including:

  • Eligibility criteria
  • Fees
  • Grievance policy
  • Sample contract
  • Waiver of liability

Judy Freundlich Tiell

is a licensed clinical social worker with over 30 years of experience in working with infertility and adoption issues. She has helped families through both the domestic and international adoption process and is seen as a leader in the adoption field in Kentucky. She successfully helped JFCS achieve the Council of Accreditation’s Hague accreditation status and works successfully with licensed agencies throughout the United States. Judy currently is the executive director of JFCS.
