Please join our social networking event this coming Sunday, January 16th to help celebrate and honor Dr. Martin Luther King! Check out our Facebook for information, ask questions, or to give us your thoughts!
Event: America’s Sunday Supper
When: Sunday, January 16, 2011
Where: Your home, at a restaurant, or having coffee, any venue with family and friends!
What is it?: Metro United Way and HandsOn Network are encouraging individuals across the country and in Louisville to participate in the first annual Sunday Supper on January 16, 2011.
Inspired by the legacy of Dr. King, Sunday Supper invites people from diverse backgrounds to come together to share a meal, discuss issues that affect their community and mobilize around the most pressing issues you agree on. Take a pledge, have a conversation, and tell us about it! Here are some questions to help you get the dinner conversation started!
1.What is one thing you would like to change in your community? What are tangible steps you could take to make that change happen?
2. What skills, talents or resources do you have that you could use to change a critical issue in your community?

We also ask you to go on our Facebook page after the 16th and share your story and details about your conversation.
